Lets roll back the years. Saskatchewan 1930. Grandpa and Grandma Bartsch bought some land with no house and spent their first winter living in an upturned horse carriage - just imagine a Saskatchewan winter living in a wooden box. When the fields thawed, Grandpa Bartsch took his tools and farmed that land with his hands. The money came, they built a house (still standing on the outskirts of Saskatoon) and raised a family.
Their son, Jae Bartsch began manufacturing kitchen cabinets in Saskatoon in the 70s after a former employer discovered his talent for cabinet building. This guy told Jae to leave the company and go build something. So he did. With the support of his family behind him, Jae opened his first shop in October 1974, and Pristine Kitchens in November 1992 and for over 40 years has given the people of Saskatoon unique kitchens.
Dustin Bartsch now works alongside his dad Jae at Pristine Kitchens and just like his grandpa and his father, he too has a talent for building things. Great things.
