Robert Phillips, Owner of Grand River Kitchens & Woodworking along with his wife Deanna, started their general contracting company (Robert Phillips Renovations / DKR Renovations) in the Kitchener Waterloo area in 1995. After many successful projects, the company assembled a team of experienced craftsmen and began to specialize in kitchen and bathroom cabinetry; and complete renovations from concept to completion. The company also creates speciality wood products such as bars and entertainment units, and architectural millwork. In 2009 we opened our shop in Waterloo and renamed the company Grand River Kitchens and Woodworking to better reflect our area of specialization.

Because we are a family-run business, we pride ourselves on the quality of our work and our reputation. Referrals and our sustainability depends on it. This is why Robert remains completely “on the tools” and on-site for every single project we do; and why he is available to meet with or speak with the home owners at a moment’s notice.
