AGS Mechanical Contractors Ltd. is a plumbing, heating and fabricating company. AGS has 50+ years of experience and a long-standing reputation for its dependability and top-quality workmanship. AGS fills over 20 full-time positions with dependable, trustworthy employees.

Albert Gannon started his small plumbing and heating business in High Prairie, Alberta in 1972. The company quickly grew and Albert was on the road steady. He soon found most of his work was conducted in and around Peace River, so in 1978 Albert relocated his family and his plumbing shop to Peace River. Albert enjoyed many busy and demanding years working in the Peace Region. After a time, Albert decided it was time for a change, and presented his two full-time employees, sons David and Matt, with a huge opportunity. Together, the three of them formed AGS Mechanical. This new joint venture started where Albert left off and began to grow rapidly. In 2008, AGS built their new 8000 sq ft shop on Peace River's West Hill. At first, it was thought to be overkill, but once again we are looking at building!

In 2010, after close to 50 years in the plumbing industry, Albert felt it was time to move on and focus on his passion for farming. The company was restructured upon Albert's retirement, with son Matt buying most of the shares and stepping up as President. David retained a portion of his shares and is Vice President alongside Matt.
